The Wrong Side of Right by Jenn Marie Thorne

4.0

I really, really enjoyed this book! The Wrong Side of Right is about a 16 year old teenage girl named Kate who just recently lost her mother and suddenly finds out who her dad is... And that he's running for President of the United States.

The Wrong Side of Right was such a unique story for me. I've never read a book about this before, and I enjoyed it so much. I could never imagine being in Kate's position though. I think I would constantly freak out and be so confused all the time.

Kate was a great narrator but I also really liked Gabe and Meg. I liked Gracie too, but I did find her to be a bit of a brat at times but after finishing the book it was all cleared up why she had acted the way she did.

The characters I did not like at all were Nancy, Elliot, and the Senator (ok, that's a lie. I eventually came to like him). I didn't like Nancy because, to put this nicely, she always seemed uptight. And Elliot was an ass. The Senator seriously needed to get his act together. Ugh.

The diverse group of characters added to the book though. It made it so much more relatable and made all of Kate's struggles seem so much more real. It was a quick read, but it was very good and I highly recommend it!
