This book just wasn’t for me - the blurb that I read originally was very vague and I was not ready for just how dark and emotionally heavy this book was. In fairness to the author I can say the book, specifically characters, are well written. Discounting the content info I missed that boils down to personal preference (ie spice, expletives, sa), there was one thing I do take issue with. The extreme lack of world-building, having read the book I still know next to nothing about the world. In the end, if you’re a person who likes dark romance and is not concerned with trigger warnings - I would still recommend this book.
