Rune Winters leads a double life—a socialite by day and a vigilante savior of witches by night—but when she begins to court a dangerous witch hunter in order to gain access to important intelligence, her carefully crafted lies may be about to crumble apart.

This was an absolutely STELLAR YA fantasy. It hooked me from the beginning and never let me go, and the roller coaster ride of the final several pages was top notch. I’m also here for the pining and the swooning and the yearning—the romance subplot in a YA-targeted fantasy can be hit or miss in my experience but this one was an absolute hit.

I also thought the magic system here was really interesting (if a little gruesome) and I’m excited to hopefully see even more magic and exploration of Rune’s powers in the next book! I truly cannot WAIT to dive into REBEL WITCH and I’m so glad I have an ARC so I can start immediately. HIGHLY recommend this to all fans of fantasy/witchy books!
