This is a very sweet book, a little sad, with a dark twist at the end. An easy read, it’s one of those books that can transport you back into your 18-year-old mind - we never truly leave that behind do we? It’s probably more of a 3.5 or 3.75 than a 4* for me, not as good as many of my 4* books but quite a bit better than some 3* ones. In the end I rounded up because of the dark twist. It completely changed the tone and perspective of the book and I respect that. Also, I have a soft spot for this book because my 6 year old son bought it for me because he liked the cover. I will never get rid of it.
