She Gets the Girl by Alyson Derrick, Rachael Lippincott
4.0
Many thanks to Jonathan Ball Publishers for sending me a copy in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.
Believe it or not, I have attempted to read this four times; other than the fact that I have a problem starting overhyped books, I really don't know why.
Okay, so the story isn't original but it is very well done and highly entertaining. Alex loves Natalie; being headstrong, with a dash of chaos and a lot of flirt, she knows how to get the girl but not how to keep her. Molly loves Cora; the problem is, being an overthinker and all, she hasn't actually spoken to her yet.
When fate brings the two of them together at college, Alex thinks she is the answer to all of Molly's problems, and thus, by extension, her own.
Even though the story can be predictable at times it is nevertheless fun and entertaining; it is also very overhyped!
