General Comments: Like any medium, the complex and dynamic rivalry between characters is an auto-matic hook; combined with an artwork that is both sinister, and sweet (balanced with beautifully period-related illustrations). The theme of classism is heavily prominent; by centralising Moriarty, and his aim to deconstruct the hierarchal system through murder, it cleverly blurs the line between hero and villain.

Favourite Quote: ‘Once you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, no matter how improbable, must be the truth.’
