Talk about a grumpy sunshine. A happy-go-lucky girl meets an evil villain and becomes his assistant, it's like a sitcom in written form.

Evie has just lost her job and she needs that to support her family. When she's traveling through the woods one day and literally bumps into the town's evil villain. He offers her a job and she can't resist. She needs the income. Things are basically what you would expect for an evil villain. Heads hanging from the entryway, screams of torture from the boss's office. Bombs in desks.

Tristan is evil he can't possibly be falling for the clumsy, ray of sunshine and jokester. can he? Yes of course he can.

The book isn't perfect, but it is a fun time. I will definitely continue with book 2.
