First time actually engaging with Twilight (I know, sorry) and I wasn't really expecting it to be so... I don't know, mundane, I guess? I struggled in the middle of it because it's so uneventful and boring, and when the conflict came at the end it didn't really interest me either.
I do wish I had been Bella's mother, though. Her character could've been very interesting and considering that (with the exception of a few stand outs) there really aren't any good characters here, the hate she gets seems kinda excessive to me. She actually has a temper which was nice to see and not something I ever saw discussed about her character.
