"I never knew there were so many different ways to say goodbye."

I love these books and characters. In this we have not only the perspective of Sam and Grace but also Cole and Isabel who add new depth to the story. This is not usually my style of story, particularly now, but I love it as much a decade later as I did that first time reading.

Maggie's writing is magic. She takes broken people and pieces them together into beautiful connections. I love it.
