Death du Jour by Kathy Reichs

4.0

A comment I made on the first Brennan novel — that the Brennan in the novels is very different from the Brennan on the television show Bones — still holds true. There is a vast improvement in this second installment in that sexual tension begins to develop between the female lead Brennan and her main companion Andrew Ryan. In conjunction with the science aspect of the novel, I was very entertained. Where the author’s style bugged me sometimes before, this time I took it in stride more easily.
