5 ⭐️ I looooved this. The writing style was exactly my type. I know people are like "oh it's sad I can't read it" but I went into this pretty blind and I think that's the best way to do it. I didn't find it super sad myself, but I've also been
depressed/suicidal and after a lot of therapy, topics like this don't bother me. I feel like maybe it even heals me a little more, if it's in this context/writing style. However, I do think you have to be in the right mind space.
For example, I didn't like The Midnight Library when I first tried to read it, but I think that's because of how the MFC was handling/reacting. I found it annoying, but I think that's because it closely resembled how I was in college. The MFC in The Wedding People was more mature, more my age now. It was dry humor + honestly in response to how she felt, not "woe is me." Also, the way she
didn't go crawling back to her husband I loved. Bc fuck cheaters idc how it happened or why.
Anyway, this was a case of right book, right time, which is rare for me. Finally, I learned how to use the spoiler tag so expect a lot of that in the future lol
