Forged by Malice is the third book in the Beasts of Briar series by Elizabeth Helen, a spicy, fun, fast-paced, why choose romantasy.

What to expect:
๐Ÿฅ€ Spicy romantasy series
๐Ÿ’— 1st person, multi POV
๐ŸŒธ 1 Beauty, 4 Cursed Fae Beasts
๐Ÿฅ€ Why choose // RH romance
๐Ÿ’— Beauty & the Beast retelling
๐ŸŒธ Fae world
๐Ÿฅ€ Magic, danger & curses
๐Ÿ’— Morally grey men
๐ŸŒธ Touch her & d!e
๐Ÿฅ€ Cliffhanger

I enjoyed so much of this book, but the pacing was a bit off. Specifically, the spice felt a bit oddly placed throughout. We went from the most aggressive edging to a feral horny pack of fae ๐Ÿ˜‚

That being said, Iโ€™m so sad that Ez began to gave me the ick. Maybe itโ€™s the fact Rose calls him โ€œdaddyโ€ or him calling her โ€œbaby girl.โ€ I prefer Petal.

I will say this book had some of the darkest themes across the last two books, which I actually liked! It added a new layer of depth to the series.

Iโ€™m still having a great time with this series nonetheless and am waiting to see what they do with my man Caspian.

Also that plot twist?! I wasnโ€™t expecting that ending!
