Ehh a bit disappointed with this one and I wanted to love it so much more than I did. I should be rating the sequels higher not lower..
I had such rocky time with Diem - her naivety and brashness is really starting to great on me, we had some growth in second half of book 2 but that just went completely out the window in this one.
I really wished this could have been a multi pov story or least dual so I could get a break from being in her head constantly.
Look I still love Luther but fuck he has turned into a bit of love sick puppy constantly just following her around and letting her make all these dumb decisions. I feel like book 1 and book 2 Luther had more of back bone, and I feel like his character is being dumbed down to prop up diem. Also I am burnt out on this slow burn by the time we finally did get to the intimate scene which is literally right at the end i was over it.
I still enjoying the plot and premise of the story and watching that unfold but definitely dragged at times and was repetitive in parts.
I am not sure if I will pick up book 4 at this point which is same cause I did enjoy the first 2 alot.
