Read this on Merphy Napier's recommendation and wasn't disappointed.
My favourite, favourite thing about this book are the well fleshed out characters: each and every one of our main protagonists is so unique and interesting, I'd read a book on each of their backstories. One of my favourites is Harod, he holds a special place in my heart.
It was heart-wrenching, exciting, breathless, and funny! It's been so long since I read a fantasy that was actually funny!
I can't wait to re-read this one.

Even though Cade's death hurt my heart, it was Orica's death and Harod's crying over her body and repeating 'I love you' over and over again that broke my heart in two. I sobbed.I can't wait to re-read this one.
