Poison Fruit by Jacqueline Carey

4.0

Rounding out the adventures of Daisy Johanssen we see her hunting a new predator with her coworker/love interest/friend Cody Fairfax that feeds on nightmares and can be deadly, as well as dealing with a lawsuit from an unknown adversary based on the events in the previous book. Not going to say much else as its book 3, but we do get to see her sort out her love life and fight against her very nature as a hellspawn, which she does all the time anyways because accepting her birthright means unleashing hell on earth, but it has other consequences as well.
I will say that she has 3 love interests across the course of this series and I actually liked all 3 of them and its never really a love tringle or square I guess in this case, which is also great. Daisy gets to be a bit much at times but as a hellspawn her emotions overload her but her self awareness about the problem keeps it from being too much and ruining my enjoyment.
