i wanted to like this so much more than i actually did but it’s more of a “it’s not you it’s me” type deal. i’m not a huge historical fiction fan and reluctantly gave it a shot after being recommended it.

i absolutely loved the characters and how the story was told. however, the plot was too slow for my liking and i really don’t give af about flying planes :/
