Although this story was predictable it was a great read. It was quick and unconsuming. I enjoyed the characters and their stories. Their hardships created tear stains on my pillow at one point. The author did a wonderful job with putting life into her characters.
I have one complaint. I didn't mind that the chapters flipped between characters, I did mind that certain chapters were told in first person and others in third. It really got to me.
