I really needed something light and entertaining after [b:Pretty Girls|25574782|Pretty Girls|Karin Slaughter|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1432205734s/25574782.jpg|42937661], so it seemed like a good time to finish up the Aisling Grey series.

The series did not finish as strongly as I was hoping. It was still fun and humorous, but it fell a little flat. Some of the elements felt repetitive, particularly the constant mishaps arising from the lack of communication. Aisling and Drake don't spend much time together in this book, so that was disappointing. What bothered me the most though was that there were several times that the story skipped over events and then just gave the reader a quick synopsis of what happened. I flipped back a few times thinking that I had missed something or skipped a page. And those were usually events that I would rather have read directly than read a recap of. So a felt somewhat cheated on those parts.

But it was humorous and diverting and a nice light read, which was really all I was looking for in reading this book.
