I only know Shonda as the writer of my favourite TV show (Grey’s) so wasn’t sure what to expect from her memoir but what I got was an inspirational book from an inspiring woman.
I loved the writing style (how could I not?!) which felt like a chat with a friend. It wasn’t dry but instead full of positive messages which we can all take from.
