This book is my favourite so far in the series, dethroning Piper/Liam’s book! Riley is just ✨chef’s kiss✨ and Lexi was a strong, independent character. Her vulnerability and empathy she showed in regards to the rehabilitation efforts of Riley’s limb loss was written so beautifully.
I think Chelsea Curto did a great job tackling a hard topic. It wasn’t just a happy go lucky story. It showed Riley’s struggle with this new development in his life and really portrayed grief from the before to the after. I respect that she didn’t shy away from talking about feelings of depression and thoughts of self-harm.
This book made me cry, it made me laugh and it made me so giddy. There are no notes I have for this book. Truly a top tier read for me. ❤️
