A (Very) Short History of Life on Earth: 4.6 Billion Years in 12 Pithy Chapters
by Henry Gee, Henry Gee
informative
fast-paced
Just like the title says, is a very summarized version of the start and evolution of life on earth.
Is really good at explaining overall features that later became key in the next species, while also giving many examples of the individual organisms.
It paint a vivid picture of the geological and atmospheric conditions, I also loved the little graphs.
This is a great starting book for teens or a refresher for all audiences
