When the Tiger Came Down the Mountain by Nghi Vo

5.0

as per the first book, the narrative choices really bring something that could be boring and linear into a compelling discussion between our cleric Chih and three tiger sisters. there is a tale of romance and prejudice and stories being distorted by time and being told and retold.

it's easy to read this book in one sitting, words are carfully chosen and never wasted. a beautiful book, inside and out.
