This is a hard book for me to rate. The main character, Madison, was unlikable for most of the book and yet I was hooked on the story and wanted things to work out for her. I wouldn't exactly call it a 'well-written' book but it did do its job as far as being interesting and intriguing. In a way, I liked Madison being unlikable, because her shallowness seemed realistic for a teenager in a time where a lot of books make every single teenager a quirky genius. She also did grow and change, and it didn't feel preachy. The book was enjoyable. A good book. Not a great book, but a good one for relaxing and not stressing the mind too much.
