I enjoyed the setting of this book. I love the Amelia Peabody series which also features archaeology and a fun couple so that's what attracted me to this book.
I liked the banter between Ford and Corrie and their dynamic was interesting. Corrie being the strong personality while Ford was the vulnerable one was also a pleasant change from the usual for this genre.
There were some inexplicable plot points in the book that I couldn't relate to but it was a fun read.
