The Lies I Tell by Julie Clark

4.0

TW: rape, gambling addiction
Very much a feminist novel, which I wasn't expecting, but stories about con artists are typically a good time, and this one was no exception. I still prefer Julie Clark's debut, however. This one didn't have as many shocking twists since you go into the book knowing our main character is a con artist. The characters are okay, and it was a quick read. It just lost me when it hyperfocused on real estate jargon & a lot of money talk, but overall, I really enjoyed it.
