Amazing, brilliant, captivating, and everything in between. This book had me in its grips since chapter 1.

I loved everything about Tisaanah and Maxantarius, from the chemistry, bickering, tenderness, and rawness of their interactions. Every plot point felt natural and every obstacle they had to face had me rooting for them at the edge of my seat.

I especially loved how the author didn't shy away from the brutality of Tisaanah's past, it made the moments of victory all the more meaningful knowing what she'd gone through to get there.

One of the best fantasy-romance series there is, with fleshed out characters and well-thought-out plot. The writing style was so dreamy but at the same time kept you grounded especially in those serious moments.
