This is only my second Frieda book, and whilst I find her writing so easy to read and binge, I saw this plot twist coming from a mile away. The first 30%, I was fully immersed reading this book, I sometimes felt like I forgot to blink but very quickly after this, I read between the lines and had it worked out by 50%

I would still recommend it for a quick creepy psychological thriller, the chapters are short and it’s a quick book to get through as a palate cleanser from other genres.
