2 tropes that were not my favorite but still interested in this series.... one good thing about this book was that it was setting up a couple of other stories as well. I think I just wish Mary had one other thing... she was obviously wanting to help kids. But she had a couple of interactions with Jon but that was it.

it will be interesting to see what will happen now that she can stay with rage and is cured. I also hate the misunderstood trope.... especially with things like curses how does this brotherhood not understand to ask about the way these men feel.

When are one of them going to fall for a therapist that can call out this bullshit way of thinking that they can't share reasons as to why some of them act the way they do, which is blatantly obvious in most cases. because they're friggin cursed!
