Beagin’s style of writing reminds me of Tom Robbins and I’m so grateful for that. Sarcastic, dry, crass, and a little distracted. I love the rabbit-holes she goes into throughout the book, overly describing a scene or thoughts of the main character. Sometimes too many details, but they set the scene and tended to make my laugh. Definitely some darkness with the therapy transcriptions and life of the characters.
