When I started reading this book, I knew within the first chapter that I was going to be giving it 5 stars. I'm thankful for that because it meant I could savour the book and enjoy it as is.
Isabel has got to be one of the best written characters for autism but in a way that actually felt real. She breathed so much life into the world and surroundings so her frankness towards other character just isolated her so much more.
Everything about this book just felt whole. It was impossible to skim and the language was simply gorgeous.
Genuinely there was no way this wasn't going to be 5 stars for me: there's complex characters, beautiful writing and lesbians.
