This was a great read. I am a fan of The Master and the Margarita and saw this on the shelf next to it and thought I would give it a go. I loved the inner monologue. His descriptions of the environment. The conditions of this rural hospital and the area and OH the terrible weather. His often terrible bedside manner made me laugh. I wish I knew people who were going to be doctors so I could give them this book.
