Picked this up because I was looking for a mystery/thriller sort of book and I love watching baking shows so it seemed right up my alley. The book was a fun read and I really enjoyed the different narrators for each characters POV in the audiobook. I wasn’t so much of a fan of the pacing of the book though. You really didn’t get into the mystery part of the book until about halfway in and then the plot seems somewhat rushed and not fully fleshed out by the end. The time jump at the end seemed to try to have this big reveal sort of moment that fell flat to me since it was pretty obvious and again it all felt a bit rushed. Still an interesting premise and a fairly quick book to listen to as an audiobook
