an extremely interesting view on sexuality and depravity from Bataille. one cannot help but squirm when reading some of the descriptions in this book… but also marvel at the sometimes beautiful prose used within those descriptions. Bataille offers an interesting take on everything and nothing in Story of the Eye, all within a melting pot of semen and blood
