Another brief but solid effort from Preller.
Justin became class clown in his new school, to recover from a cafeteria spill. Somehow, now he's just an unfunny jokester, maybe even a bully. His (new) teacher isn't amused, and now its war. Justin gradually realizes that his former friends are dropping him, and an overheard exchange in the teacher's lounge shows him another side of Mr. Tripp; a new friend helps him see a different perspective on his friends and his own behavior.
The upcoming talent show gives him a chance to recreate his image.
