It was not so much a coming of age story than a murder mystery and a story about friendship and love. The setting in the Oxford-like school and the friends‘ love for learning and for Shakespeare was so dark academia and I loved it. The setting is not just a backdrop, but part of the story and in that way it was like Harry Potter, but definitely for grown-ups. The writing was out of this world good and I‘m glad I got it as a hardcover, even though I know whodunnit now, I‘m definitely going to read it again, simply because reading the story itself in this setting is such a cozy treat and the perfect autumn book.
