Marvellous domestic thriller. Could not put this book down. Found it messy and clever. Miles is

one of the most devious, diabolical characters I have come across in a long time!!)

The only thing that bugged me was why

didn't the police see that every time Miles felt crossed, someone got hit by a car!!! Like several people. No CCTV at any of the places??! Also they did background checks on Pete and Maddie but not him??
