The Three Secret Cities by Matthew Reilly
5.0
Anything that this guy writes is automatically a five star book for me. This one is no exception. The action doesn't stop. The historical facts and figures would make you want to keep googling stuff. It's all tied up beautifully between myth and reality.
All including some clever escapes, daring rescues, and kickass action. It's an action movie in book format. Like Indiana Jones on cocaine.
Really really loved the addition of one character that I've been dying to read more about for 15 years. Scenes in the book had my heart racing and I felt like a child watching his first action movie.
The only complaint is that I wish the book was longer.
Now, the wait for the next book... Two Something Something.
