Started of with a hilarious AITA story that carried through as the characters made it part of their banter and lives. Cute!
The trauma theme was difficult but well researched and not just glossed over. Jimenez is so much more than a romance writer. Her stories are fully fleshed out and foreshadowed bits are not forgotten.
This stand alone story is also the third in a series where various characters cross into each other's lives as friends of friends or co-workers etc. My heart aches that this might be the end of this "series" because it all wrapped up pretty well.
