This is the first horror comic I've read and I did really enjoy it. I went into expecting a strict body horror and I ended up actually caring and wanting the characters to get out of the village. 

Not all the short stories were 5 stars but the ones that were definitely made up for it. The art style also packed a great punch. The horror aspects were creative, I didn't think the concept of spirals could be taken in so many different directions.
 

Can't wait to pick up more of Junji Ito's work.
