Missing Me by Sophie McKenzie

3.0

okay immediately the fact that someone in this book was called wolf kind of ruined it for me. like i couldn’t imagine him as anyone else but this emo furry that spends all his time on discord and wattpad. though to be honest that’s entirely my own stereotypes and entirely my fault so nothing against the author there i actually think the author has a brilliant writing style. i just wish the setting was different

i was also pulling my eyeballs out like the entire second half of this book because like

i was so invested??? like okay she knows how to
grip her readers and i love that. but by the end of it the amount of unrealistic stuff that happened is amusing on face value but when i was done i was glad i was done. not that i regretted reading it or i didn’t enjoy reading jt but the amount of stuff that happened that just would never happen just got out of hand. like i get a book is meant to be exciting and yeah stuff is gonna happen that is unlikely in regular day to day, but this was just over the top constantly. like i said in the last review for the 2nd book out of the 3, it would’ve been much better set in a dystopian theme.
overall though i honestly loved this series
