Okay, not the best SW novel by far. Anderson does the most annoying thing by taking quotes from the movies and plugging them in as actual dialogue. You know those old quotes "never tell me the odds", "do or do not", "force is all around us", etc.
It was just super annoying because he would use the quote as it was originally stated and then repeat it like 100 times in throughout the novel. It's like he had no idea what to write so he stole one-liners from the films.
An interesting book, I would have preferred Exar Kun be successful and have more books about him later. Oh well. It was a decent book, but not nearly as good as anything Timothy Zahn ever did.
