I hesitated for a bit, then gave it 5 stars after all. I think this is a book that will stick with me for a while.
This woman has been through so much and to be honest, it picked up on themes that I have been shying away from. I haven't read a book like this before, but if you have read a lot of Korean family sagas it may be less special for you.
The ending is absolutely fitting for our main character.
I listened to the audiobook and sometimes got confused about which perspective we had, but that could have been just me not paying proper attention. And it only lasted for a little while, it was not something that really bothered me
