THE ENDINGGGGGG
Adored the first two thirds. Early Victorian England historical fiction + academic setting + a bit of fantasy is a combo made in heaven for me.
Miss Rebecca almost lost me for about 150ish pages towards the end when there’s a big tonal shift and the messaging becomes even more heavy-handed than in the first parts. That’s my main critique of the book… we get it girl.
But the last 30ish pages omg she is a genius I love her THE LAST LINE I can’t. I CANNOT!!!!!!!!!!!! Incredible unique never been done before beautiful book I love it
