It took 42 pages to complete grip me and drag me into this universe. In a steampunk, magical Cario, Special Investigator Fatma el-Sha'arawi has to solve a murder that unravels a large plot. For such a short novella, this is action for start to finish. If this is just a taste of what A Master of Djinn is, I can not wait to start that.
