Thank you to Macmillan Audio for the ALC of The Enchanted Greenhouse by Sarah Beth Durst. All opinions are my own.

Last year I read and enjoyed The Spellshop by this same author. While these two books are set in the same world, they follow different characters in different settings. Some characters from The Spellshop are mentioned in this book, but it’s brief. You can read these books out of order and still enjoy them.

The Enchanted Greenhouse is a cozy fantasy with a relaxing and sweet tone. The characters are wholesome, the romance is sweet, and the found family is so precious. I had an overall lovely time reading this book.

If you’re a plant lover, I think you’ll love this story. There are sentient plants with fun personalities. There’s a gardener as one of the main characters, and the protagonist is working along side him to save the plants and their greenhouses.

The romance was so sweet and vulnerable. I loved how the characters became friends and were shy about sharing their feelings with each other. They really looked out for one another, and I appreciated how kind both of them were.

This is the type of story that is feel good and lighthearted while also discussing harder topics such as loneliness and giving second chances to people who’ve hurt you. Overall, I thought this book was great and would recommend it!

Also, I listened to the audiobook and thought the narrator did an excellent job with distinguishing the different characters’ voices. I would recommend this format.
