I loved this book. I savored every moment I had with it, drawing out the length of time it took for me to read. I want to move into the Darrowlands and find a half orc/human or other magical creature to sweep me off my feet (literally and figuratively).

 

If it’s not love and devotion like Orek has towards Sorcha, I don’t want it 🤗🥰😭 Orek is the bestest orc-human I ever did meet and I love him and want to protect his heart and he’s my newest book boyfriend. Sorcha is my role model and I want to be like her when I grow up, just not as responsible as she is because she’s an oldest daughter 😅🤍

Read this if you want a cozy romantasy with adventure, danger, lots of love, self discovery, and a raccoon companion. If you like the Disney princesses who befriend all woodland creatures, you’ll love Orek because he is that princess. 🤗
