I’m really disappointed, since I’m a big fan of Gi’s vlog. I was originally just going to leave a 2-3 star review, because this book was fine. The opening was actually very very good and sweet, but this book ends up falling into victim blaming towards male victims of sexual assault. 
The climax of Sophie and Billy’s story comes when Billy is sexually assaulted by his female costar. She forces a kiss on him and paws at his crotch without his consent. This is treated by Sophie and the narrative, as if he actively chose to cheat on Sophie. Something that he has to apologise for.
 

I’m really disappointed in Gi.
