If you want a middle grade graphic novel that reads like a spy/heist movie, this is one for you! It is pretty trope-y, but I think it manages to pull it off ok. The art is interesting to look at, and the connecting aspect of the main characters (they are all extinct animals) is an interesting twist. I wish there was more character depth (especially with the group, I felt like no characters had much description/back story) but I'd be willing to wait and see if that improves in subsequent books. It kind of gave me the same vibes as the movie Hoodwinked.
