This book is so emotional. I loved reading how this beautiful romance slowly develops. The title of the book could apply to both the hero and heroine in this story as you read their point of views. They each felt the pain of their mate’s rejection. With one exception, Justus is such a sweet, tender, caring alpha. He is absolutely the perfect match for the timid, anxious Annie. I’m so happy that Annie gets her happy ending. I enjoyed reading this book so much and can’t wait to read the next book in the series.
