They Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera

3.0

The premise of this story was very intriguing. People get a call giving them notice that they will die within 24 hrs. I get that the authors overall message was trying to be profound but I felt bored throughout most of the book. I wasn’t emotionally invested with any of the characters (loved Lidia though) and maybe thats why I didnt feel anything at the end of the book. It just felt like there were too many euphemisms forced into it about living life to the fullest that the wasnt any authentic about the story.
